a)     A new Rs.500 crore Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana will provide 24×7 power supply to rural areas.

b)     Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission to deliver integrated project-based infrastructure in rural areas will be based on Gujarat model of urbanisation of rural areas and implemented using the PPP model.

c)     Total sanitation expected to be achieved through Swatch Bharat Abhiyan by 2019 at a cost of 1000crore.

d)     Rs.100crore National Adaptation Fund for increasing the capacity for Himalayan studies.

e)     National Centre for Himalayan Studies in Uttarakhand with an initial outlay of Rs.100crore.

f)      Expenditure will be spent on pilot schemes on Safety of Women.

g)     ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana’ will be a focused scheme to overcome the indifference to the girl child.

a)     Allocation of Rs.1000crore under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojna to improve access to irrigation by rainfed farmers.

c)     A project on river Ganga called ‘Jal Marg Vikas’(National Waterways-I) will be developed between Allahabad and Haldia to enable commercial navigation.

d)     An ‘NRI Fund for Ganga’ will be set up which will enhance special projects.

e)     SEZ’s will also be developed at Kandla and Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust.

d)     Launching of National Mission on Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive (PRASAD) also proposed.
