Why in News?
The Union government plans to map all drinking water assets under Jal Jeevan Mission on the PM Gati Shakti GIS platform. The Jal Shakti Ministry signed an MoA with BISAG-N to enable geo-tagging, monitoring, and data-driven planning of rural water supply systems.
