Conviction and Commitment Over Comfort: Deputy Registrar Nithyasri’s Journey of Patience, Perspective and Purpose

Some journeys are shaped by hardship.
Some are shaped by hunger.
And some — like Nithyasri’s — are shaped by quiet conviction.

Born in Mulakalacheruvu village of Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh, Yegavinti Nithyasri grew up in a household where education was not merely encouraged — it was practiced every single day. Both her parents Redappa and Sreevani are government teachers. Conversations at home revolved around discipline, responsibility, social awareness, and the dignity of public service.

Nityasri did not grow up under financial pressure. She was not compelled to prepare for competitive examinations because of economic hardship. She had stability. She had guidance. She had options.

Yet she chose one of the most uncertain paths in India — the civil services route.

And in 2026, that long and patient journey culminated in her clearing APPSC Group-1 and securing the prestigious post of Deputy Registrar in AP Cooperative Services.

A Consistent Academic Climb

From the very beginning, Nithyasri’s academic record reflected clarity and consistency.

Nithyasri completed her 10th class at AP Model School, under the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, securing a perfect 10 CGPA. It was an early sign of focus and disciplined study habits.

She pursued Intermediate (MPC) at RGUKT RK Valley (IIIT Idupulapaya), YSR KADAPA and secured 9.51 CGPA, maintaining the same consistency and academic seriousness.

From 2018 to 2022, she completed her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from RGUKT RK Valley (IIIT Idupulapaya), passing in Distinction. Her academic journey at RK Valley strengthened not only her technical knowledge but also her ability to think analytically and work under pressure.

With an Engineering degree in ECE and strong academic credentials, she had every opportunity to step into the corporate world. Many of her classmates did — securing good packages, moving to cities, and beginning financially rewarding careers.

But for Nithyasri, the idea of contributing to governance and public administration felt deeper and more meaningful than immediate financial success.

The Psychological Battle: Years That Tested Her Resolve

The real challenge was not academics — it was uncertainty.

In 2023, she appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination. She could not clear it.

These were emotionally demanding years.

While her friends were progressing in stable careers, earning salaries, and building independent lives, she was sitting with books, revising polity, economics, ethics, and current affairs. Social comparison is quiet but powerful. It enters the mind when results are delayed.

There were moments when she questioned herself.
There were moments of fear — of delay, of uncertainty, of “what if.”

But she never allowed those thoughts to stay for long.

Nithyasri maintained a disciplined routine, studying 8–10 hours a day to ensure consistency. Not extreme burnout schedules. Not unrealistic targets. But steady, focused preparation. That discipline became her anchor.

Her parents, being government teachers, understood that meaningful achievements take time. They never rushed her into employment. They trusted her preparation and stood firmly behind her.

Her younger brother Sumanth, now a software engineer, was a constant emotional support. He never compared journeys. Instead, he reminded her of her strengths when she doubted herself.

Her uncle (Mavayya) too encouraged her during difficult phases.

And importantly, her friends played a powerful role in her journey. When she lost confidence, they believed in her more than she believed in herself. Their moral support mattered deeply. In moments when she felt she was falling behind, they reminded her that her path was different — not wrong. That belief from friends gave her strength during emotionally low phases.

Looking back, those years of setbacks were not failures. They were shaping years. They built emotional maturity, patience, and resilience.

The Role of La Excellence IAS: Structured Preparation and Perspective

A significant turning point in her preparation journey was her association with La Excellence IAS.

She enrolled in the Civil Services Classroom Coaching (PCM) programme. This phase gave structure to her preparation. Instead of scattered reading, she learned systematic answer writing, integrated current affairs effectively, and followed disciplined revision cycles. It refined her approach from hard work to smart work.

For APPSC Group-1, she joined the Interview Guidance Programme at La Excellence IAS, which proved to be decisive.

Dr. Rambabu sir personally assisted her in filling her Detailed Application Form (DAF). This was not just about filling columns — it was about introspection. He helped her reflect on her background, education, motivations, and long-term goals.

He also shaped her perspectives on Andhra Pradesh’s finances, state economy, and current governance issues, enabling her to respond to questions with clarity and depth.

The mock interview panel created a highly realistic environment. The questioning was analytical. There were cross-questions, situational scenarios, and policy-based discussions. The atmosphere mirrored the actual board.

That exposure removed fear.

By the time she appeared for the real interview, she was calm, composed, and confident.

The Breakthrough: 2026

In 2026, persistence bore fruit. The APPSC Group-2 Services results are declared and she cleared it successfully .

Nithyasri also cleared APPSC Group-1 and secured the post of Deputy Registrar in AP Cooperative Services — a responsible administrative role involving supervision of cooperative societies, financial oversight, regulatory functions, and grassroots economic development.

For someone who once worried about falling behind, this moment was deeply fulfilling.

Not because it was a government job.

But because it validated years of quiet effort.

It proved that consistency, when sustained long enough, yields results.

Beyond Marks: Leadership, Service and Character

Nithyasri’s journey was never confined to textbooks.

She served as:

  • Class Monitor (2013–2015)
  • Girls’ Representative (2016–2018)

As an NSS Volunteer (2018–2020), she actively participated in:

  • Food distribution to orphans and elderly
  • Awareness campaigns on education and female hygiene in nearby villages
  • Campus cleanliness drives

She received the Pratibha Award in 10th class and secured first prize in PPT competitions during technical fests.

Her hobbies — reading self-help and fiction, and practicing yoga (Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana) — helped her maintain emotional balance during long preparation phases.

These experiences reflect leadership, empathy, and social sensitivity — qualities essential for public administration.

The Dream Continues: Civil Services Ahead

Clearing Group-1 has not ended her aspirations.

Nithyasri’s larger dream remains the Civil Services Examination (CSE).

The Academic Director of La Excellence IAS, C.Ram Mohan Reddy, shared specific strategies with her for the upcoming CSE attempt:

  • Focused micro-revision instead of expanding sources
  • Strengthening Ethics and Essay using administrative insights
  • Integrating real-time cooperative governance experience into General Studies answers
  • Practicing analytical structuring and value-based conclusions

Now, she prepares with maturity — not just as an aspirant, but as a serving Group-1 officer who understands governance at the ground level.

A Story of Steady Growth

Nithyasri’s journey is not dramatic.

It is disciplined.

It is consistent.

It is deeply human.

  • She chose uncertainty despite comfort.
  • She persisted through setbacks.
  • She studied 8–10 hours daily to maintain rhythm.
  • She leaned on family and friends when confidence dipped.
  • She trusted the process when results were delayed.

From AP Model School to RGUKT RK Valley, from unsuccessful attempts to becoming Deputy Registrar in AP Cooperative Services, Nithyasri’s journey reflects one powerful truth:

Consistency compounds.

And as she now prepares for the Civil Services Examination, she carries not just books — but experience, resilience, gratitude, and perspective.

Her story reminds every aspirant:

You do not need desperation to succeed.
You need discipline.
You need belief.
And you need the courage to continue when outcomes are uncertain.

The road continues.

And Nithyasri walks it — steadier, stronger, and more determined than ever.
