Context
Recently, the Prime Minister chaired the 53rd PRAGATI meeting, reviewing major infrastructure projects, AgriStack under the Digital Agriculture Mission and cyber-fraud issues. Six Railway, Road and Power projects across nine States, involving over ₹30,000 crore, were reviewed.

- PRAGATI stands for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation and was launched in 2015.
- It is an ICT-enabled, multi-modal platform for monitoring important programmes, projects and public grievances.
- PRAGATI enables direct interaction among the Prime Minister, Union Government Secretaries and State Chief Secretaries.
- It combines digital data management, video conferencing and geospatial technology for real-time review.
- It promotes cooperative federalism by bringing Union and State authorities onto a common platform.
- The platform focuses on removing inter-departmental and inter-governmental bottlenecks affecting project implementation.
- Projects are monitored for timelines, inter-agency coordination, pending issues and completion.
- The latest meeting stressed end-to-end infrastructure planning, common utility corridors, quality assurance and technology adoption.
- AgriStack was reviewed for using agricultural data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve farmer-oriented decision-making.
