Dr. Maneesh was born and raised in Rayachoty of Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh, in a family where education and public service were central to everyday life.
His father, Anjan Reddy, was a government school teacher who dedicated his life to shaping young minds. He believed strongly in discipline, honesty, and responsibility. Though his father later passed away, his influence continued to guide Maneesh’s life and decisions.
His mother, Reddy Rani, works as a Junior Assistant in a government school, and her steady strength and sacrifice ensured that her children never lacked support in pursuing their dreams.
Growing up in this environment shaped his thinking and gave him a strong foundation of discipline and service.
Academic Journey: From School Excellence to Medical Education
Dr. Maneesh was a sincere and disciplined student from his early years. He completed his schooling at SVVB School, Rayachoti , and passed out in 2010 with 92%, reflecting his strong academic foundation.
He then pursued his Intermediate education at Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Vijayawada, where he secured 93%, continuing his record of academic excellence.
Motivated by a desire to serve people, he chose medicine as his profession and joined SV Medical College, Tirupati, affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences. Medical education exposed him to the realities of human suffering, responsibility, and compassion. He completed his medical degree with 63%, marking an important milestone in his professional life.
These years shaped his empathy, emotional maturity, and sense of duty.
Medical Career: A Phase That Changed His Direction
After completing his medical education, Dr. Maneesh worked as a Duty Doctor for few months. This period gave him valuable experience in patient care, emergency handling, and medical responsibility.
While working as a doctor, he realized that healthcare challenges were often linked to administrative systems. He understood that while doctors treat individuals, administrators improve systems that serve entire communities.
This realization inspired him to pursue civil services.
Civil Services Journey: Failure, Persistence, and Success
Dr. Maneesh began his UPSC and APPSC preparation with determination.
In 2023, he appeared for UPSC Mains, but he was unable to clear it. He also appeared for the APPSC Group 1 Mains examination in 2022, which he could not clear.
These failures were difficult, but they became turning points in his preparation. He analyzed his mistakes, strengthened his conceptual clarity, and improved his answer-writing skills.
His persistence paid off.
He later successfully cleared APPSC Group 1 and secured the position of District Fire Officer, a prestigious and responsible administrative role. This achievement marked the realization of years of struggle, discipline, and determination.
In addition, he appeared again for UPSC Mains in 2025 but couldn’t clear it.

A major turning point in his preparation came when he joined the La Excellence Core Batch in 2025, where he received structured mentorship and preparation support.
After clearing Mains, he became part of the La Excellence Interview Guidance Program (IGP). During this program, he participated in a Hackathon where he interacted with retired bureaucrats. Also Dr. Rambabu sir’s DAF Filling Sessions have helped him a lot. Maneesh said that most of the questions based on DAF helped him in APPSC real interview.
These interactions gave him practical insights into governance, decision-making, and administrative responsibility. Learning from experienced officers helped him develop confidence and clarity.
This mentorship played a crucial role in shaping his administrative thinking.
Achievements Beyond Academics: A Well-Rounded Personality
Dr. Maneesh demonstrated excellence not only in academics but also in extracurricular and service activities.
He received a scholarship from Sri Dargah Swamiji Trust, recognizing his academic merit.
He was awarded First Prize by the American Heart Association (AHA) for demonstrating exceptional CPR skills among his batch.
He actively participated in the Inter-Medic Cricket Tournament, reflecting teamwork and leadership.
He served as Secretary of the Fine Arts Committee at SV Medical College in 2018, contributing to student activities and cultural programs.
He also developed artistic skills such as miniature art, pencil lead sculpting, and chalk carving, reflecting patience and creativity.
