IN-SPACe approved a Pixxel Space India-led consortium to set up India’s first fully indigenous private earth observation satellite constellation under the PPP model, investing ₹1,200 crore for 12 satellites to boost geospatial intelligence and reduce foreign reliance.

- Lead Organisation: Pixxel Space India, Bengaluru.
- Members: Piersight Space, Satsure Analytics India, Dhruva Space.
- Investment: ₹1,200+ crore over 5 years.
- Selection: Chosen via competitive bid by IN-SPACE against three consortia.
2. Project Overview:
- Objective: Build India’s first fully indigenous commercial EO satellite constellation.
- Scale: 12 advanced EO satellites under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
- Technology: Satellites equipped with panchromatic, multispectral, hyperspectral, and SAR sensors.
