- Comments have been invited until 31 July 2026, reflecting the government’s commitment to a transparent and participative legislative process.
- After consultation, the draft may be revised, approved by the Union Cabinet, introduced in Parliament, and becomes law only after passage by both Houses and Presidential assent.
